Written assignment HL: Students are required to adhere to a word limit of 500–600 words, plus a 150-word rationale. Students who fail to write the minimum number of words or who exceed the maximum will be deducted 1 mark from criterion A: language. Seif's visit was a definite plus, his experience with the IB and his outlook especially now that he is a medical student in Toronto Canada was inspiring and thought provoking. The students interacted with him very well and I think they got a very good idea about what to expect and what they could be doing better/differently.
ReplyDeleteIt was also great to be able to finalise out timetable and see that by the end of November we should be well and truly done with all the work and can start focusing on Paper 1 and 2.
It was also good to see that they udenrstood the role English plays in their curriculum.
I am really looking forward to working on this with them. I feel empowered and prepared and I think they are too.
